It is a Buddhist tradition that monks and nuns are supported by donations. For millennia, monks and nuns have taught and lived the Dharma and have in return been supported by the population through donations. Generosity (dana) ist an integral part of Buddhist practice. Our Watermoon Chan-Monastery continues this Buddhist principle. Everyone should have the opportunity to join us, therefore all activities are free of charge. With your donations, you will be supporting the development and maintenance of the monastery and the nuns living there, as well as all the activities we offer.
